In 2023, Carolyn McLaughlin successfully earned her Doctorate in Education from St. John Fisher University. Dr. McLaughlin’s dedicated research and post-graduate academic pursuits culminated in her thesis titled: Does Quality Meet You at the Door? Nursing Home Administrators Perspective of Quality of Life for Black Residents in the Capital Region of New York: A Qualitative Descriptive Phenomenological Study, which delves into the issues of topmost concern to her — namely, care of the elderly and health disparities.
